Bags and small goods, cut and stitched by hand in a three-person workshop in Lisbon.
Shop the releaseEach piece is made in a numbered run of 40. When a run sells out, it isn't remade.
About nine hours of hand work over three days.
Panels are cut by hand from a single hide, so the grain matches across the bag.
Saddle-stitched with two needles and waxed linen. If one stitch breaks, the rest still hold.
Edges are sanded, dyed and burnished three times before the brass hardware is set.
Hides are tanned with plant tannins and darken with use. Wipe with a dry cloth and keep away from prolonged rain and direct heat.
Two needles carry waxed linen through each stitch hole. Avoid soaking and let damp pieces dry at room temperature.
Solid brass develops a darker patina with handling. Wipe with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
